Founded in 2017, Africans for Mental Health's (AFMH) mission is to break the stigma of mental illness in the African global community. Our global community centers on individuals who identify as members of the African Diaspora, Afro-Descent, Black, African, African, and African-American.
AFMH is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, substance use and abuse prevention, and suicide risk reduction. AFMH operates in Texas and Maryland transcending boundaries to touch lives.

Team Conquerors is our official team name at AFMH. We are individuals living with mental health conditions, caregivers, and advocates who participate in walk events throughout the year.
